SULAPAC® PREMIUM ECO-PACKAGING

SULAPAC® STORY

The roots of Sulapac® innovation can be found in the Finnish forest. The founders of Sulapac, Suvi Haimi (PhD) and Laura Kyllönen (PhD), wanted to develop a beautiful and ecological cosmetic packaging material to reduce the plastic waste.

THE GLOBAL PLASTIC WASTE PROBLEM NEEDS NEW SOLUTIONS

Plastic is the dominating packaging material in the world and the plastic consumption is growing all the time. Regardless of the improved recycling schemes and energy production in different countries, the plastic waste keeps accumulating to the nature. The circular economy is here to stay and needs new packaging solutions that do not overload the environment.

SULAPAC® IS LIKE PLASTIC WITHOUT THE PLASTIC WASTE PROBLEM

Sulapac® is fully biodegradable package made of renewable and sustainable raw materials. We use wood only from sustainably managed Nordic forests. It is toxin-free and it has a low carbon footprint. Sulapac® can be processed like plastics and it is the first mass-producible premium eco-packaging in the world.

ALL THE BENEFITS IN ONE PACKAGE

Sulapac® combines luxury, sustainability and unlimited design possibilities. Sulapac ® packages can be manufactured using injection molding, extrusion and blow molding techniques. Sulapac® has comparable properties to plastics and by using Sulapac® barrier coatings water, oil and oxygen barrier properties can be further improved. Sulapac® material and technology are patent pending.

WE LOVE DESIGN

All packages have an identity. Our premium eco-packages help you to communicate sustainability and strengthen your brand identity. Sulapac® can be shaped into different forms and is designed for environmentally conscious customers who value premium design. Together we can create your new luxury package, and we have a world-class designer network at your service. Every package makes a difference.

CASE NIKI NEWD®

Niki Newd® wanted to be the pioneer for premium eco-packaging. The Niki Newd ® Soap Case is made from unique and sustainable Sulapac® material that does not contain any harmful compounds. The soap case was developed to support the Niki Newd® brand image as an ecoluxus cosmetic brand.
