Heidi Peltola, PhD, started at Sulapac as R&D Manager, developing the Sulapac material portfolio. Today Heidi is responsible for the Product team, including R&D activities and technical support, ensuring that customer-centricity and product competitiveness remain at the core of continuous portfolio upgrades, product development and new product entries.
Heidi holds a Doctoral degree in materials science, focused on cellulose fibre reinforced biocomposites, from Tampere University and her core expertise lies in project management, recipe and product development, material knowledge, thermoplastic processing methods and testing of bio-based materials. Heidi has previously worked as Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd., researching biocomposites and biopolymer based solutions for several application areas.
