Dr. Laura Tirkkonen-Rajasalo is Co-founder and Chief Compliance Officer of Sulapac. Laura is a biochemist with PhD in stem cell and tissue engineering (2013) and a Masterâs degree in Biochemistry and molecular biology (2010) from the University of Tampere. She has managed projects and led research and development and innovation implementation activities at universities in Finland and Switzerland as well as the European Commission.
As an experienced scientist, Laura was the key person in developing the first Sulapac material innovation and patent. Today Laura is in charge of all matters related to the regulative environment, compliance and sustainability management.
Passionate about environmental issues, Laura has worked in nature conservation projects in Swansea (Wales) and Nairobi (Kenya).
